observer
Seems "the experts" are forcasting a bleak Winter, with sub zero temps up to Febuary. So, if you can, hibernation would seem the order of the day, with your c/heating on all the time - IF you can afford it.
Peter T
Is that a question or a statement??? We have had cold winters before and some people actually have to work in Arctic conditions. Not all that long ago9in the 80's?), that we were in the -20's. At work we used to go in the refrigeration room (- to get warm when we weren't steaming the pipes to unfreeze them. I find the coldest part is between -5 to zero. Below that you can't really tell the difference, unless there is a "lazy" wind that goes through and not around.
