wolfie 299 Report post Posted October 13, 2012 Alan Pardew has told his Newcastle United players to forget all about the club's new sponsorship deal with Wonga.com. He's told them to just get on the pitch and give it 4107%

Cleopatra 93 Report post Posted October 13, 2012 Very good Wolfie  Cleo, Wonga are moneylenders I always thought wonga meant money so I googled it and it still means money. Perhaps you were thinking of a wonga monger?
Evil Sid 606 Report post Posted October 13, 2012 WONGA is one of those short term money lending services that will loan you money until "payday" usually a month. They charge an exorbitant APR of 4214% if you do not pay back on time. So to be daft if you borrowed £1.00 and did not pay it back for twelve months you could end up owing £4215 or there abouts if my maths is right. wolfie 299 Report post Posted October 13, 2012 I wasn't going to mention your little error with the APR % though I'm so pleased you didn't, but I'm glad I did because they played Man United
