  1. 1. Should Jimmy Savile's knighthood be removed?

  2. 2. should we have a public inquiry into all not just savile

NOTES....... WHY ARE WE HEARING THIS NOW WHERE WAS THE PRESS THEN AND THE BBC AND THE POLICE ?

Perhaps because some powerful people knew that if Saville was exposed while he was alive he would spill the beans on them too?

People powerful enough to make Saville immune from prosecution by gagging the press and suppressing police investigations until after his death?

That's powerful...

this get even better who do you know who as Jimmy Savile had keys to a high-security hospital, where he worked as a volunteer and has been accused of carrying out abuse this as to be the old boys net work come on these people who give him this power must be looked too

Also Two former senior BBC TV executives have denied that claims of sexual abuse by Sir Jimmy Savile were an open secret at the corporation in the 1980s.

Jim Moir, who as a BBC entertainment executive was in charge of Jim'll Fix It and Top of the Pops in the 1980s, said he never received any complaint or warning about Savile's behaviour towards underage girls

notes from me but all his DJ freind all known so your tell me no noe said anything "bull S@@@@"

Janet Street Porter claims everyone knew Jimmy Savile, and some other BBC and ITV stars, were perverts abusing younger girls in their dressing rooms, but no one did anything (including herself) because of the culture in the industry NOTES FROM ME WATCH THE CLIP AND LISTEN TO WHAT SHE SAYs

No I would say better as it now showing he was not acting alone there must have been a ring and will show more people who are alive today and did know about it can be accountable for his action and can be fetch to justice. Most of all it will help to make sure it never happens again

Saying worse would be saying hope no more comes out of this bad news but hay that’s only my view

Lates news ......... The crisis surrounding the BBC‘s handling of the Sir Jimmy Savile sex abuse scandal has deepened yet further amid claims another television personality molested children while at the Corporation.

It is understood the man, who has not been named, was a high profile figure within the Corporation and appeared on a popular soap opera. But the new claims relating to a fourth figure are not thought to involve Savile, and if proved, suggest the incidents were far from isolated and went beyond a small tightly knit group at the Corporation.

it was claimed that hospital chiefs knew 30 years ago Savile was a threat yet they allowed the predatory paedophile to boast he had his own bedroom at the Buckinghamshire hospital and had ‘lived’ there for two decades.

Yet while the BBC has issued a grovelling apology to the late presenter’s many victims, NHS chiefs are refusing to say sorry.

But a retired NHS worker poured scorn on this claim, telling the Daily Mail: ‘To my knowledge, the juniors and new staff were advised to be careful in their contact with him.

'That was not said officially, maybe because he brought in such a lot of publicity and funds. There was no control over his comings and goings, he would just turn up. He had free run of the place.

notes they are starting to fall now more names will come out but again the BBC is stone walling they will never brake the old boys net work but i hope they will be named on who stoped this and witheld it from the public at the end of the day we are all keeping them in jobs and we are paying for there pay offs

This Savile business could finish up a ‘media circus’ with the papers making a fortune out of it, I can’t help thinking that it is going to fizzle out, because let’s face it he’s six foot under with a layer of concrete over him and as far as I can see no credible witnesses to his wrongdoings, I’m certain that there are some of these girls who were genuinely sexually assaulted and/or raped by the ‘slimeball’ but unfortunately you are going to get the ‘I’m going to jump on the bandwaggon brigade’ who want to make a fast buck out of the situation, Max Clifford has already said that twenty women have contacted him saying that they have been assaulted by Savile, why would they contact a public relation consultant other than to obtain money for their stories, I hope I’m wrong but I see this being a waste of Police time and public expenditure. The only saving hope that I can foresee is that others in the TV celebrity world may be entrapped and brought to justice, lets hope so!.

On some part I agree that some will jump on the band wagon but yes he is six feet under but he will not stay that way for long if his family have anything to do about it .

yes we can not do anything to him but the BBC and the hospital we can, and I hope they do as they could have reported it in the first place but they never. I can not forgive that and I hope every ones thinks the same.

At the end of the day they let it happen no matter how small the rumour was they should have acted and reported it. have you ever know a load of nurses knowing about this and not saying anything to management if they are saying that well they don’t they have no respect for them then do they. I hope the nurses sue as well …… but hay as long as the top brass are getting sh*t loads of donation and making them look good nurses can shut up… well sorry its not going to happen I hope the clams for money goes on for years

Gary glitter and we have all forgot about Jonathan king from the BBC they stared with a rumour they hung them out to dry like they could have with savile…………. I wonder if the press bugged his phone

No matter how long this carry’s on he had something on the old boy net work and would have fetch the house of cards down around them I just hope some where he wrote notes and we find them with all the names… now that would be justice

The question has to be asked just how was Savile able to get away with this for decades...It must have been the biggest conspiracy of silence there has ever been...It seems many people of power and influence have known whilst the rest of us didn't have a clue...Could it be that funny handshakes and rolled up trouser legs have been involved ?

You mean to tell me, that even if the national press and the establishment were blocking these revelations at the time; that these "victims" couldn't have involved the foreign press or organised some proof on film?

Obs, were not talking about adults these were little more than children, in fact legally they were children!.

Not in the few years they took to grow up; think I'd understand a 4 year delay in a complaint, but not a 40 year one.

You may be correct obs, but I don't really see this relevant to the issue in hand, as Savile has gone, and as tara_dad put it, the only hope is that it will flush any of those other offenders out who can be then held accountable for their behaviour.

more intodays new says as follows

The BBC said it was "disturbed" by allegations that a former TV producer was ignored when he reported an abuse claim against Savile to bosses.

The Sun newspaper says that David Nicolson caught Savile having sex with a young girl in a BBC dressing room.

Mr Nicolson, now 67, is reported to have blown the whistle on Savile and claimed he was told: "That's the way it goes."

The incident is said to have happened in a dressing room for the Jim'll Fix It programme, involving a girl Mr Nicholson said was aged "16, maybe 15".

ALSO

The BBC has learned that some of the women making abuse claims are now seeking compensation from the BBC and from Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

Child abuse lawyer Liz Dux, who has been contacted by several of the women in the past few days, told BBC Radio 4's the World at One: "The case would be against the BBC or the hospital because essentially they would be held vicariously liable in law for the acts of someone like Savile who was acting as their agent.

notes from me now you will see the door slam shut on the old boys net work you watch things will be hidden and people will be Warred not so say anything now or you’ll lost your job now you’ll see the old boy net work close its ranks

Honours Forfeiture Committee who can take is honours away under the following

The Honours Forfeiture Committee exists to consider cases where an individual’s actions subsequent to their being awarded an honour raise the question of whether they should be allowed to continue to be a holder of the honour.

The Committee normally conducts its business by correspondence. It considers cases where an individual who has been honoured is judged to have brought the honours system into disrepute, for example if he or she:

has been found guilty by the courts of a criminal offence and sentenced to a term of imprisonment of three months or more,

or has been censured, struck off etc by the relevant professional or other regulatory authority for action or inaction which was directly relevant to the granting of the honours.

The Committee is not restricted to these two criteria, and if there is other compelling evidence that an individual has brought the honours system into disrepute, then it is open to the Committee to consider such cases as well.

The Committee also considers matters of general policy regarding forfeiture.

The Committee has a majority of independent members. It comprises:

Head of the Civil Service (Chair)

Treasury Solicitor

chair of the specialist committee which recommended the honour to be forfeited

two other specialist committee chairs who have no association with the case(s) under consideration

The Committee’s recommendations are submitted to The Queen through the Prime Minister.

The subjects discussed by the Committee remain confidential. Decisions on forfeiture are published in the London Gazette.

but with the above the old boys net work are saying but on the other hand sod what you the public want

as in the following ONE....... But the Cabinet Office explained that there were no legal arrangements in place to remove honours posthumously. Part of the reason is that an OBE or a knighthood expires when a person dies - but it is also highly unusual for there to be calls for a recipient to be stripped of their honour after they have died.

TWO........However, a Cabinet Office spokesman said it was possible that as a result of the Jimmy Savile case, the Honours Forfeiture Committee might reconsider the rules.

He said: "There are currently a number of police investigations under way into the allegations.

Three............The Order of the British Empire is a living order and individuals cease to be a member when they die. An appointment as a Knight Bachelor would also cease on death.

NOTES FROM ME,..... they know if they do it wil open the gates on others who CAN AND WOULD LOSE THERE`S GOING ALL THE BACK INTO HISTORY.......... OLD BOY NET WORK CLOSEING ITS DOORS
