Eagle
Yes, by more than 12 men good and true. .....who haven't seen or heard any evidence. He is still dead and any compensation, whether deserved or not, will be paid out on behalf of the BBC and NHS by the tax payer. Taking money from Saville's estate will be a criminal offence.
Cleopatra
Don't talk rubbish. The BBC/NHS may become liable to pay compensation if proved they could have done but didn't do anything to stop him. But compensation will be paid from Saviles estate which is why his assets were frozen from the start of the proceedings.
Cleopatra
How crazy is that....? Savile's knighthood died with him so the Honours Forfieture Committee are now considering giving him another knighthood just so that he can be stripped of it. What a waste of time, money and effort! It's MAD I tell you. If knighthoods die with the knighted how the hell can a dead person be knighted? Arise Sir Jimmy... Ooooooooh...! Spooooky! Eagle
Don't talk rubbish. An unsurprising comment, it seems to be your normal discussion method, that and your obsession with arseholes which seems to be a common trait in some countries.. 1

tara_dad
Not been on for a bit reading what’s been put up to know. about evidence over the passed years we have had people who have been convicted murder lets say and people have looked in to the case and some one as found something not right in the statements. Some time they are called open cases or cold cases. people later even years can come forward and say no he did not do it. and that he was with us all say, then this because what they call beyond resalable doubt the law has to look at this. There will be some sore of Patton rising . with all statement taken unbeknown to us there will be a set Patton that the police will be looking for if you have been assaulted by him. unless you would not know this. There could have been distinguishing marks that you would only know if you have been assaulted by him ? D&A is new and is not always used . But yes it should be. as for wasting money people who have been found guilty and are innocent would not be free today so no its not a waste of money or polices time. fugtifino
So do I. But then I always had a soft spot for writers who demand some kind of effort from their readers. But that's just me. Anyways: ta tara D
Sheila_P
I understand it, too. Also, I'm glad to see that things are hotting up in relation to Fernbridge. At last the powers that be/were are sharing the spotlight.

Taking money from Saville's estate will be a criminal offence. Thirtyone victims are making claims against savile's estate and the BBC. A writ as been issued at the high court on their behalf. Another 50 are planning to do likewise.
