Cleopatra
Hook handed radical cleric Abu Hamza has lost is fight against exradition and is to extradited to USA with four others. Now why has the USA not been mentioned before now? May had supposed to have negotiated with Hamza's own country for his deportation back to there. Peter T
Wonder if he will still claim benefits for himself and his family?
fugtifino
Wouldn't want to speak for May, but that ol' extradition treaty with the US was always dodgy.
Davy51
Does anyone know what happened to the businessman from down south who was extradited to the US earlier this year ? I think he was in his sixties & not in the best of health .

Cleopatra
Seems HRH wanted him out of the country (reference the BBC) so he had to go !! Â HRH is not the only one. Probably half the country's population, if not more, wanted him gone. Hopefully a few more will follow him. Just don't send them here! 1

Cleopatra
Put him on a plane to usa anyway, even if he dies en route! Who will cry for him?
Evil Sid
Well if this one works then all I can say is that a lot of our criminal element will be using the same defense to stay out of prison. Â It is about time that the law got it's act together and got this sorted. Appeal denied, taxi to airport, plane to wherever, lawyers to go with him to see fair play, crew bail over atlantic and jet shot down as a terrorist threat. observer
Why dont the Yanks just extraordinary rendition him?!
Bazj
apparently he was trying to get someone to bring a private prosecution out against him so it would mean that he had to stay here; but the judges threw out that idea and now he has played the health card.... Â Yet another example of the PC and HR culture of the UK utterly obsessed with affording rights to those who take equal measure in abusing them
Dizzy
I agree with all the other comments and if for 'whatever' reason he is now not extradited then them maybe he could just be sent to the local vets for a swift and painless injection. That would end his so called suffering and illness and rid the word from him in a matter of seconds  Or maybe the simper solution would have been to just ... no best not
Cleopatra
Well the high court judge is having no truck with him. He said if his health is deteriorating the sooner he goes to trial the better, and america has top health treatment for it's prisoners so he will be taken good care of. The judge will make an announcement tomorrow. It's hoped that he can be 'shipped' out to america by the weekend or next week anyway.
