Diane Abbot, who prompted your question, is a regular on tv talk shows for which she last took home 6,000 pounds from the BBC, paid from out of viewers' licence fees, so she obviously, observer, is not devoting enough attention to her parliamentry/constituancy duties as she perhaps could do, for which you pay her a healthy, robust, salary plus expenses.
