Evil Sid
Just read the article on the news page about the planning permission for golden gates housing to build a "new flagship office building" within the town hall grounds. English Heritage has voiced criticism of the offices being built at that particular point as have local residents. with so many offices being empty around the Warrington area why do they need to build new ones, surely the refurbishment of one of the empty office buildings to bring it up to spec would incur less of a cost or am I missing something here. If they need office space near to town then why not use some off the empty buildings in bridge street such as the old boots building. Just a thought mind you.
