WireWarrior97
I've noticed there isn't a thread on peoples opinions of this season. Just so I don't go into a rant, I'll steal the thread from least season. Player Of The Year: Best Home Game: Best Away Game: Goal Of The Season: Best Fightback: Biggest Suprise: Biggest Disappointment: ------- Player Of The Year: Only players we've had all season are Shippo, Jackson and Pritchard, I think? Shippo. Best Home Game: Garforth, great result but we bottled it at the end when we should have scored more. Best Away Game: Macclesfield Goal Of The Season: 4th v Garforth Best Fightback: Salford on the first day? Biggest Suprise: ... What do you think?! Biggest Disappointment: See above. theinsider
Biggest Disappointment: players quitting / beign relased etc. How can that be a disappointment - clearly weren't good enough or the manager wouldn't have been sacked and would have all still been at the club. I know your club has moved on from fighting relegation year on year but not really caused any great shakes in the past three years.
tg
Player Of the Year: Liam Shipton Best Home Game: Prescot in the league. Away fans that still play their bugle at 5-1 down are fantastic. Best Away Game: Macc. Special effort, fantastic performance. Deserved so much more than we got. Goal of the Season: Hickeys equaliser against Sheffield at home, more for what it meant after being robbed in the initial game and it completing the comeback. Best Fightback: Coming back from two down at home against Sheffield, before we got unlucky with the own goal to lose it. Biggest Surprise: the departure of the manager Biggest Disappointment: either the pathetic effort in front of a big crowd on the first home game of the season against Curzon or the high number of heavy defeats (Farsley at home, Skem away, Garforth away, Durham away, witton away, Lancaster away etc)

Timing thats all - 5 walking out in a week doesnt help stability at a time when we didnt have a manager. Some people also think that soem released perhaps wouldnt have been under a ddifferent boss. I just feel a settled side helps thats all.
