Like I said earlier, I'm not opposed, in principle, to nuclear, or any other source of energy, we just need to make it as clean and safe as possible.

That would be the opinion poll that found 62% of 29000 people out of a total world population of what? 9 billion or so? Very representative I'm sure :roll: :roll:

The disaster in Japan actually proves how safe these nuclear installations are, except of course to those people who are scared of anything they don't understand :wink: :wink: :wink:

Not the reason I oppose it. I've stated this before when we've had this same topic; the commissioning and de-commissioning costs are astronomical; and the waste storage requirement is a liability for succeeding generations. Much better imo, to utilise our natural resources, that we have in abundance. :wink:
