observer
How do you make decisions? Are you rational and logical, or do you let your heart rule your head?
tonymaillman
Who cares ? and who keeps financing these stupid pointless areas of research ?
observer
No doubt - the tax-payer; and "research" employs a considerable number of Univerity graduates!
tonymaillman
I presume you mean research that is actually 'useful' ?
observer
There's a question as to usefullness - how many graduates have entered the tobacco industry for example, to improve the addiction of fags?!
Slipstream
Decisions depend on the subject matter.
observer
Wrong ; "the process" of decision making depends on a fairly complex loss/gain equation being processed by the brain in the manner described, thus "the process" is applied to all decision making regardless of the subject content. Legion
since I am a man, logic dictates my decision making. Â if I were a woman, emotion would dictate it. Â my answer is based on logic too (because I am male), but if I were a woman, I would still say that it was based on logic, because emotion would not let me admit I am irrational to you men !!! Peter T
WHERE is Geoff's post? Isn't a general question as opposed to specifics?
observer
Tried to avoid the general gender sterio-typing; as emotion tends to govern human behaviour in most folk.

Stephanie Anderson
I agree this can be true Observer. Not too long ago I heard from a brain surgeon that the front of a males brain doesn't fully develope until his early 20's and this is why alot of teenagers don't think before they act.
