Geoff Settle
Is it just me or have prospective Warrington employees decided NOT to respond to applicants? When I last went for a job a, or when I used to advertise jobs it was custom and practice to acknowledge the receipt of an application and inform a potential candidate that they had been unsuccessful. Warrington Employers appear to have adopted the clairvoyants approach and send out telepathic messages.
Peter T
I could be mischievous, and say it was you, but for some time, companies have stopped sending out "Dear John" letters. You only get notification if you are on the short list. A case of "Don't call us, we'll call you." Back to the cooking and ironing Geoff. Geoff Settle
Don't forget the washing, taking the spaniel for walks and the school run, however did I go to work. It's a tough life can't wait for Diagnosis Murder and the Jerremy Kyle show on Monday and not forgetting Big Al's breakfast club :loveyou: [ 02.12.2007, 10:23: Message edited by: Geoff Settle ]

Evil Sid
it's nothing personal i get treated the same. what i tend to do is log down who i have applied to and when and then give them a ring a week later and ask them if they have received the application. eventually you do tend to start getting polite letters saying that you have been unsuccessful this time but we will keep your details on record for the next six months just in case. still ten minutes on the web will give you plenty of possible jobs to apply for.
