But isn't the Welsh language "recognised" by the EU? If we deprived them of the "human right" to preserve their native language, wouldn't some Taff take us to the Court of Human Rights and sting us for a fortune? NOR STA - YAKI DA!

Could be wrong but I thought the Welsh language act was in 1967, could be wrong again Obs but I think that was before we joined the Eu

God help anyone in 100 years if they look at ours.. it's even confusing me now I have just checked it

How come it only asked for first name and surname of people... what about middle names?

I've sort of messed my section up though  and they can figure it out as it's not my fault their questions on current employnent 'and' looking for work were ambiguous

Silly questions or silly form filler :lol:

My dads retired and he works Peter... you are never too old you know

Sad state of the times. The children should be supporting them.

If I was a suspicious type, I might think that the info as to whether one works or not after 65 helps to justify extending the working life before getting a pension.

PS. I work, but get nowt for it.

Who's said this info won't be used for 100 years? It may not be made public for 100 years, but if it's not used immediatley by policy planners, it makes the whole exercise pointless.

They do use all the info once it's collated Obs... they just don't link it to or divulge the individuals themselves 'allegidely'

Says on the cover:

"Census information is kept confidential for 100 years".

Interpret that as you will. Do this lot lose laptops?

Yes Peter.. it's kept confidental for 100 years...

That doesn't mean no-one has access to it or the collated data and information or like Obs said it would be a waste of time. It means that only the people who are allowed to access to it can peek.....a bit like your bank/medical records etc etc

Interesting, given the questions in the census, that the Gov are proposing to reduce HB for tenants who are under using Council properties IE - one or two unused bedrooms.
