AdrianR
Was Netwrok Rail not Railtrack, who are fully goverbnment owned,so the government have fined themselves. All this shoudl be lokked as is a reduction in the subsidy they get and therefore a claw back by HMG. Only people who will be punished are the rail users who were hit once when the riginal problem arose. Farce!!
Paul Kennedy
Actually in effect they've fined the taxpayer....it's a stealth tax.

wahl
shows how stupid the so cal;led regulatyors are and how corrupt the people who drew up the rules. Once again the taxpayer pays for incompetence and corrupt government.
