Geoff Settle Posted December 13, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 13, 2007 The swing bridge nearly did though - I caught a jagged piece of metal - O heard a rip but it was only cosmetic. Mind you some woman overtook me on the way back and then pulled up hard into the kerb - how I missed her I don't know - motorist in Warrington give cyclist very little room. Shortly afterwards I haedr a large lorry behind me he waited patiently until I had got around the corner before overtaking me and giving me plenty of room - he was German and the lorry was massive so some drivers know what to do.
