British political treachery.

We decalared war on Germany in 1939, as a consequence of Hitler's invasion of Poland. In the following years tens of thousands of Poles escaped to fight for the Allies, in N/Africa. Italy and most famously as Battle of Britain pilots who punched well above their weight. Alas, when the War ended, the new reality was that Stalin had taken Poland into the new Soviet Empire, and they were still our allies - the result - in the final VE parade in London, where ALL our allies were represented - the Poles were not allowed to be in the parade. Such is the nature of political expediency.:cry:
