600,000 jobs are expected to be lost in the public sector

see on the front page that lloyds banking group are to create 153 new jobs in warrington.

 

this is on the same day that they are announcing job cuts at lloyds that will involve at least 650 jobs being cut.

 

what one hand giveth the other taketh away.

Its a disgrace that they're getting rid of the public servants, but I guess we are easiest to cut, try taking jobs and taxes from the banks who got us in this mess if you want to raise some money

Just for clarification......Could someon please list as many jobs as possible that come under the 'Civil Services' title / 'public servises' titles or maybe just a definate definition as there seems to be some confusion looming :lol::wink:

Perhaps the joke is this: Lloyds cut jobs in Chester and transfer them to Warrington; so that Chester folk can get on their bikes and ride to Warrington for a job, or just add to the traffic on the M56! :lol:
