observer
A way of reporting news or just a way of making it up?
Eagle
If someone is "entrapped" then it isn't made up ,in the case your are obviously referring to, it is a combination of greed and stupidity.

inky pete
If a journalist hears that someone is on the take - or is doing something else newsworthy - but cannot get anyone with solid evidence to go on the record with it, then one obvious way to break the story is via an organised entrapment. I mean, nobody just thought "let's see if that Fergie will take a bung for access to Randy Andy and his Trade Envoy contacts" out of the blue, did they? There had to be rumours circulating beforehand that there was a story here - possibly not the first time she's had a go at cashing in????? kevofaz25
On the take is one thing- the obvious but less reported security risks in this case are more worrying- Taliban/Al Queda want to speak to Queen's son- yeah, I can fix that.. inky pete
It'd cost a hell of a lot less than ?1/2 million to get details of his intinerary and security arrangements from some flunky or other!
observer
Seems the poor girl is short of cash, at ?45,000 a pop for speaking engagements - it's no wonder!
