observer
Once upon a time, your local GP used to provide an "out of hours" service, but since this Gov renewed GP contracts which paid them more for doing less; we now have out of hours services being provided by some Doctors who can't speak fluent English and some who arn't even medically qualified. Gate keeping on this policy is supposed to be provided by the General Medical Council - who suppossed to check qualifications; and by the PCTs - who are supposed to check on competance. However, it seems that Doctors originating from EU countries are not necessarilly being vetted - so are you bovvered?
