Gary Posted January 1, 2010 Report Share Posted January 1, 2010 I see the appeal from the fire chief for people not to use Chinese Lanterns in built up areas fell on deaf ears last night. I was letting the New Year in in Penketh (great fire work displays in that part of town) and there were hundreds of lanterns being sent into Orbit.
