But it's still the same eyesore it ever was. Any news as to when the work will start, if ever. It's just that I'm getting fed up of going to the Traff for a meal and film. Since then, the market for 620 apartments and more retail space may have dulled somewhat... The big question is whether anything has been done on site which would constitute a "start" of the development, for if not the planning consent would lapse - presumably after the standard three years. But that's a specialised field - in different bits of planning law, "started", "commenced", initiated", and "implemented" have different meanings...
