It?s thanks to me Mams nocturnal activities that me Uncle Phil Harding from Time Team came to work in Warrington.

 

There he was scratting away in a ditch with his trowel in the Appleton area, when all of a sudden he shouts out;

Ohharrgghhhh!!! come an ave a lucks at what Oive fewnd, it?s a Stoneage spearhead made of solid pewter by crackey.

 

The Archaeological Society were so excited and pleased, as it was the most important find made in the Appleton area in donkeys years, that they named the site after him.
