observer
Well well; it appears (as we all knew), that our Government "rolled over" under pressure from the Saudis NOT to investigate allegations of fraud and graft involving the BAE arms sales. Paul Kennedy
Don't think I'll "bovver" Observer, not impressed by any of the candidates...all rather worrying really given it is the World's most powerful country...at the moment. I guess most people are thinking anybody is better than Mr Bush. PS On your substantive point....conducting business in the Middle East is somewhat different to elsewhere. The rulers and their families....very large families...tend to treat the country as their family business. Just wondering what they do with all of the billions they "earn".....apart from indulging in extreme lifestyles [ 15.02.2008, 08:52: Message edited by: Paul Kennedy ]
Legion
but on the plus side....anyone IS better than bush as you said... anyway Im not so sure it matters who the americans vote for... they can just fudge the figures to put whoever "they" want in...they did last time. observer
The point of the topic, isn't WHO they choose; but OUR subservient relationship to the US; AND the total absence of a moral compass in our relationships with other corrupt regimes around the world.
