kateoflymm
The only real Rock'n'Roll is from the 50s. I bought "Long Tall Sally" when it was first released, along with many other Little Richard records, and of course there was Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly and Bill Haley - his was the first record I ever bought, "Rock Around the Clock" - among others. I liked Lonnie Donegan too. Where most of my hard-earned 5 bobs went, of course, was on records by Elvis. I became a devoted Elvis fan in 1956 when I heard "Heartbreak Hotel", repeatedly, on a juke box in Spanish City, Whitley Bay. After that I was hooked I still listen to them all, today, on various CDs and I still get the same buzz.

kateoflymm
Well I listened from 8.15 to 10 p.m. and I didn't hear it. I am very disappointed. Please don't say you played it at 8.10 - when I wasn't able to listen.
tonymaillman
My profuse apologies Kate even though it's one of the shortest tracks ever recorded i just didn't have time to fit it into the time slot allocated HOWEVER I WILL make amends next week by playing it as a priority ....... plus another Little Richard track to go with it verrrrrrrrry sorry
