Wingnut
I was witness to something the other day that stopped me in me tracks. There was this old chap sat on the canal fishing. About fifty yds away a hearse was crossing the canal bridge. All at once the old chap stood up from his fishing basket, removed his oily old cap, and bowed his head as a mark of respect. When I got close to him, I said, that was a really nice gesture you just made to that passing hearse going over the bridge. No problem me owld fetler he said. It was the least I could do, we?d been married for the past 53 years.
