168th Station Hospital, Grappen Hall in the 1940's

Recommended Posts

I am searching for Ernest J. Sosa who had something to do with 168th Station Hospital, Grappen Hall, Warrington in the 1940's (worker or patient). He was in the US Military. He was a friend of Charles Wilkinson. Any information on these people or on the hospital itself would be greatly appreciated. Regards.

First things first. Grappenhall is all one word, NOT two. The hospital may be connected to the US base at Burtonwood, although it is on the other side of town. So a look at our Burtonwood Memories page may help. On the other hand, there were, I believe, Canadian servicemen based in Warrington, at Padgate and possibly at Glazebrook or even Croft.

There are a few websites around which may offer help. Try Google
