Observer II
Time this was ended for non-UK citizens ? Seems the HO are busy trying to deport illegal migrants under the Dublin Convention, (just another 4,000 to go); but are being confounded by spurious legal actions by the HR lawyers. I believe these HR lawyers are funded by legal aid paid for by UK tax-payers - so is it time this anomaly was ended ? 😠
Evil Sid
Perhaps a cap on legal aid for non uk citizens would help. Say £10.00 per case and see how many lawyers take that on. Cost more than that for a lawyer to take the top off his/her pen.
Observer II
Seems the cost of legal aid is expensive, even for bona fide citizens, assuming that Pike's are classed as citizens. The killers of PC Andrew Harper received over £500,000 in legal aid, and one appealing against his sentence - joke. 😠
