Observer II
With thousands now ignoring social distancing protocols at protests or on the beaches; a seemingly rushed attempt to exit lock down, a contact tracing scheme that's not functioning; a quarantine scheme that can be ignored and has been absent since January; with the furlough scheme under threat from firms like BA wanting to sack ex-workers and with over 700 illegal migrants landing on our shores and not being deported: Boris drops the final clanger, by inviting 3 million HK Chinese into the UK. The tragedy of course, is that not one serving politician could do any better - time for a Reform Party methinks ? 😠 😷

Davy51
I thought the topic was about my state of mind ! Glad to see some doom & gloom has resurfaced. In truth, whichever party had this poisoned chalice things would have been very little different. We are in a quagmire of another's making ,with difficult decisions to make ,the health of the population or the economy . All this quarantine for people entering the country is leaking like a sieve just like the testing procedures. I think the people from Hong Kong should be welcomed ,their country didn't get where it is now by playing mah jong.
Observer II
I suppose your right Dave, looking on the bright side; they're an entrepreneurial breed from an overcrowded island, so should easily adapt. Perhaps open some wet market chains ! 😉 😷

Observer II
As if to prove just how clueless they are; MPs have voted to return to voting in Parliament, forming a safe distanced queue around the Commons; instead of continueing virtual attendance from home. Now that a Minister has just fallen ill in the Commons, they have gone into another resignation frenzy against Reese - Mogg, as if it was caught it in the Commons. He more than likely caught it dodging through a protest last week. They've completely lost it now 😠 😷
asperity
The question is, did any of them ever have it to lose? 🤨🤪
algy
These idiots that are supposedly governing our country are attending parliamentary sessions in Westminster then most are catching trains back to their constituency towns and cities all over the UK with the possibility of giving the virus free transportation with them, what a load of plonkers.🙄
