Observer II
Would have thought a car provides your own PPE bubble ? 😷
Evil Sid
if you are in your car on your own then you are safer than pedalling a push iron through the streets. Also if you are going to work or to do a shop then surely getting there quicker and getting back quicker would lead to shorter exposure times. Even shorter given the lack of traffic currently on the roads. If they are going to close roads and ban cars then they should also ban bicycles,or go the whole hog and just ban people.
Observer II
Just the Green lobby seizing the virus opportunity to further their manifesto - cars provide social seperation, public transport doesn't. 😷
Confused52
You are certainly safer in the car than queues inside supermarkets where young blokes who really need their booze and think they are invincible are not keeping their distance because they know they will be alright. Not a thought that they may be asymptomatic and spreading death to older people.
