Observer II 215 Report post Posted September 26 We've all seen young women walking round with their heads in their mobile phone, bumping into folk and chancing getting run over as they cross the road; we've heard of the selfie culture, with youngsters falling off cliffs and high buildings while posing; but the latest stunt is quite shocking. A 29 yo female accountant, had her mobile in the bath; but worse, had it on charge while in use. Guess what - the phone slipped into the bath and she was electrocuted. Seems Darwin is having a field day with this generation.
Evil Sid 607 Report post Posted September 27 Not to mention the zombie cyclists. pedalling along headphones in phone in hand staring at the screen oblivious to traffic, pedestrians, parked cars, lamp posts etc. Odd really considering that a charger for a phone or tablet is about 9v maximum, although it is possible depending on the combination of bath salts and oils to increase the risk significantly. I do have to wonder thought why would anybody want to take a phone into the bath with them in the first place. (apart from the obvious selfies of course...🤫)
