asperity
Ship sat on the Atlantic seabed for over 100 years rotting away! Divers who have been down to look at Titanic seem surprised that it's rusting away. I despair.😏
Evil Sid
perhaps they can paint it with hammerite to stop the rust.🤭
asperity
It is strange how Belfast looks on building a ship that sank on it's maiden voyage as an achievement to be proud of.

Bill
Nah Sid, you want WD40 because it's basically an oil and I've read it repels water. That's it for me for a while. Off for a coffee with our Mr Stallard. Bill

Bill
Yep got the pm info so will do our best to catch up with you. Just in San Antonio at the moment and it's a bit on the warm side. 100 degrees at 8.30 at night, wasn't expecting that! Bill
Stallard12
Interesting city amigo, mucho caliente. Welcome to our world. Try Los Margaritos restaurant in the Mexican market for lunch - take the trolley. Little Rhine Steakhouse on the river for supper. Just finished a round of golf and I'm just as wet as I would be if hit by a fire hose! See you in New Orleans in a couple of weeks.
Bill
Left San Antonio and had three days in Fredicksburg. Just arrived now in Fort Worth and looking forward to seeing a rodeo tonight. Lost my phone in a cab so cancelled my sim only to find it got brought back to the hotel just 2 mins later. I can still ring you but it won't be from my number. Bill
We've had our fair share of weather extremes on previous visits but I guess we were lucky this time. Just arrived New Orleans 16.30 beer time.
Dizzy
Sounds like you are having a great holiday Bill Nice that you are meeting up with Stallard too.....hope you post some photos for us all to see. Have fun and enjoy
Stallard12
Unfortunately Dizz, we couldn't make it happen. Our two schedules couldn't be manipulated to cross paths, he did call me though to discuss it. The New Orleans climate didn't suit them, over a hundred with 99.8 humidity and still the same at midnight.🍵
Bill
Yes it was a real shame it didn't quite work out. Had it have been pleasant there and a shorter follow on journey we could have made it happen but I had to consider the others. Had a good long chat though. Any how, lts our last full day here in Huston before flying back tomorrow. Bill
Stallard12
It was oppressive Bill, I'm glad that my son is an Uber whiz ! Never rode a cab a hundred yards before, he lives in Philly so even short walks got to him. Maybe next time - will be passing thro London next Spring to catch EuroStar, maybe you could nip down !!
