Above the law?

Observer II

Recommended Posts

Are some sections of society - above the law ?   Over a weekend, some "travellers" broke into and occupied a Brewery, which they proceeded to trash.  According to the news report; the security guard phoned the Police, who, it seems, were reluctant to intervene.  Ideally, a bit of low tolerance and heavy policing could have bagged the offenders in the act, within the confines of the Brewery. But alas no, the gypsies having left and dispersed, the police claim they are now looking into the matter.   Perhaps the Chief Constable couldn't organise a p%%$ up in a brewery ?!  :D

I saw this report on the local news tonight and, on the face of it, there are certain sections of society that are apparently able to get away with just about anything. The police plead lack of resources but were able, last Friday, to muster 7 Officers to arrest one man outside Leeds courts on a charge of Breach of the Peace. However in this case, although the police were on the scene while the perpertrators were still there they were unable to arrest a single one. Something is smelling distinctly odd in this country today.

Think we know why Asp;  the authorities are terrified of the chorus of "racism" from the liberals (tinkers being classed (incorrectly) as a distinct racial group by the EU).  Think we have to seriously question the manipulation of news items by our liberal media - EG:  In Paris a guy performs a good deed, climbing up the front of a building to save a child., and we're told he was an illegal immigrant from Eritrea; now rewarded with French citizenship by Macron.  Then from Liege, we get the story of guy who was recently released from Prison, killing two policewomen; but no mention of his ethnicity or religious affiliation.   Seems George Orwell got the year wrong and the direction from where authoritarianism and newspeak is coming from.

Isn't there only one human race ? There are too many fragmentations being made of what is the one & only human race. It won't be long before a dispute between neighbours from Bewsey & Dallam will be called "racist".

As for these travellers who broke into Thwaite's brewery why should there be any "race related " dispensation for their criminal actions ? An Irish accent whether genuine or bogus is hardly grounds to hide behind  the Race Relations Act. The stupidity of the application of "the Act" in many cases these days makes the need for it to be repealed long overdue.

Seems the excuse being offered by the Chief Constable is that he is under resourced.  There were apparently enough police available to escort the "travellers" from the site, but not enough to establish their identities, the nature and extent of the damage they inflicted or charge the offenders.
