Challenge Cup

Toronto Wolfpack today started with a rush, going 8-0 up in short order, before the Wire took control. Toronto lost their heads at times, at one stage having only 10 men on the pitch (one red card and 2 in the sin bin) resulting in the Wire running out 66-10 victors. Wigan at home in the next round (quarter final) will be a sterner test.

Toronto were their own worst enemies.

But they will watch the replay and learn a lot.

Can't call them for lack of effort.

I felt sorry for the coach.

it was embarrassing to watch the second half even the warrington players looked embarrassed at times as they strolled past them to score.

it is also the first time i have seen a ref lose his patience with a team as well, he was also mentioned by Jonathan Davies as a possible man of the match.

Had the discipline been there then i am sure that the result would have been different with warrington looking defeat in the face.

Toronto certainly looked the better side at least for the first 10 minutes, but that seems to be typical Wire this season. Give the opposition the lead in the early minutes then ramp up a gear and win.
