Bazj
No it was a lie, written on the side of a bus Other lies, they have back tracked on, include, immigration p, and the latest is, paying in to get access to the single market, not many left they have not gone back on yet, but there's still time Non of you have decided to have ago at me about the big lie of scaremongering that was woven, but you can't really as the prices are going up, a lot of the 350 billion that was mentioned by Brexit will have to go on the wholes made in budgets made by pound falling, I think the defence budget alone takes most of it Where does it say on the side of the bus that we should give £350 million a week to the NHS?... in true fashion when it comes to politics, it only says "Lets fund the NHS instead"... it doesn't say by how much though does it?....
Lt Kije
Bad, whats the size of the whole is the defence budget now, because of the weak £ and add that to the wholes in the other budgets that now have holes in them
Lt Kije
It was 700 million for defence in August, and was getting bigger, all due th the £, and because we buy in $, other budgets are also effected
Bazj
but what about the bus?
observer
A much too difficult question for him Baz, think your photo was game, set and match: and he doesn't seem to realise with his gloom and doom, that we are STILL in the EU, and will be until the Article 50 is triggered and the 18month negotiations completed. Perhaps by then, there won't be an EU, or at least a united EU; as the cracks between Italy and Greece, and the E/Europeans over immigration are becoming evident. asperity
There are rumblings in France and Germany about the EU already. If either them decides to leave as well, then the whole reason for the existence of the EU will have gone.

Davy51
But we won't save anything till we actually leave the EU & stop paying the money in. Until we are no longer members we will continue to be ripped off by the whole corrupt organisation.
Lt Kije
The whole in our budgets is here now, thanks to the interest rate collapse, no solutions from the Brexit side yet, they coursed the collapse , so how about a solution from you, think they all said it was scaremongering
Davy51
Brexit has not yet happened we are still in the EU.
Lt Kije
But the Brexit vote made the £ crash, which in turn has left a big whole in outer budgets, mainly defence as we buy in $ and NHS as we buy many of our drugs and equipment in $ And it's going to get worse when we invoke article 50 And your solution is....................?
asperity
Carry on with Brexit, as soon as possible. There's the solution, because it's the uncertainty that is still causing problems. Anyway Rome wasn't built in a day.
observer
The Brexit vote didn't "make the £ crash"; international speculators did; and such casino economics is the way global capitalism operates. But does that mean that democracy can't operate unless it placates the markets ? These gangsters caused the 2008 crash, and we were well and truly STILL in the EU at the time. Just relax Kyje, and sing "Silent night, wholly night " !

Lt Kije
Well to be fair Asp answered the question, Obd and Baz had no answer. Obs outside the EU we will still be dominated by bankers, our whole economy is based on it, unless you are advocating Pol Pots method, take the city of London out of the economy and force March them into the fields, we could use them to pick our fruit and veg, so come on Obs atleast try to answer the question
observer
Like I've said on the other topic, if you are content with a world ruled by casino bankers; and corporations that want to use workers like cattle, allowing them to roam the world providing cheap labour; at the expense of indigenous populations, fine - I don't.

Davy51
It seems the £ is recovering against the Euro so if we are down against world currencies then the Euro must be in the same boat.
observer
It's all smoke and mirrors; the Chinese Yuan has been kept artificially low against the dollar for decades, so they can swamp the US with exports. The irony of it all, is that the supposedly communist Chinese, are now better at capitalism than the capitalists !
Lt Kije
Will the uk be free from casino bankers when we have left Obs?
observer
Depends whether we have a Government prepared to regulate the City; Blair & Brown certainly didn't, indeed quite the opposite, which led to 2008 crash.
