P J
The UK is full sorry. Something to ponder the next time your stuck in a queue of traffic ! Ah yes, all those migrants making traffic jams for the couple of British born drivers.
Davy51
PJ ,well said about the indigenous population depleting the finances, It is many of our own people that should taken out of benefits & put into full time, meaningful jobs so there is no need for these so called essential workers from abroad. Saving billions from the benefits bill would be the shot in the arm this country needs, but successive lazy governments over the last 30 years have taken the easy way out of confrontational politics by welcoming workers from abroad to save upsetting the electorate who have been doing very nicely out of the "lack of work" related benefits system.
observer
Not really rocket science, even for you PJ: an increase in population brings an increase in demand for road and other space, simple logic. So at the rate of a million plus each 3 or 4 years, which has been going on for some time now; if we accept your assertion that they're all in well paid jobs, they'll afford cars too. But surely, by your logic, if they are stealing the jobs from the British then there will be less British drivers able to afford a car? observer
Cars aren't that expensive nowadays, loads coming in from outside the EU (wonder how?!); think there cheaper too, in Poland etc ! Cars are deemed essential nowadays, increase the population = increase the cars, on an Island of finite space. Gov Departments and Local Authorities have to plan for housing land provision, schools provision etc on the basis of probable increases in population and demographics; problem is, with a sharp rise in population due to uncontrolled migration, they can't keep up, thus public services will become inadequate. Davy51
I usually drive pre cherished cars....most of my past cars have been recycled several times before they get to me. Maybe these Dacia Duster adverts are really telling us the car will be delivered to your door packed full of Eastern European immigrants. Milky
nonsense and you know it. If we Brexit, even your swivel eyed loon of a leader admits to having no idea what is going to happen, And what is going to happen if we stay in the EU, again point out it is not stable and if it fails we will be better off out then in. Neither have you answered how the army of low paid shop workers, waiters and warehouse staff have any long term gain to the economy of the UK? Ah yes, all those migrants making traffic jams for the couple of British born drivers. Yes the thinking of the loony left, it does not matter how long the queues to the gp, or the hospital, or the housing list but we must welcome immigration. PS Cars are more expensive in Poland then UK, Poland was the second most expensive place to buy a car in the EU a few years ago I am not sure if it is still true. There was a thriving trade of buying cheaper RHD cars in the up, importing them to Poland, moving the controls over and reselling them. Still happens with trucks. observer
No need to "point out" anything, I'm fully aware of who's in the EU and who isn't; none of which prevents Albania applying to be a member of the EU, or prevents their Nationals from entering the EU, many as members of organized crime gangs, and finishing up doing time, at our expense, care of HMPS. P J
and finishing up doing time, at our expense, care of HMPS. Aren't Albanian prisoners sent back to their own country to do their sentences there? We have a bilateral agreement and of the 180 Albanians in British prisons over a hundred were eligible and sent back. Google is your friend Observer. Freeborn John
Albania has lots of prestigious cars, mainly Mercedes... trouble is they are mostly stolen in the rest of Europe and shipped back there A set of false plates and an epic 24 hour drive will see nice UK cars under new ownership anywhere in Europe, in the Ukraine there's even a law that if you buy a vehicle which turns out to be stolen it's still legally yours... observer
1) Free movement applies when any Tom, Vladamir or Muhamad can enter the EU or UK unchallenged. 2) You don't actually believe that an organization like the EU, that nearly started WW3 over it's expansion efforts into the Ukraine, doesn't want to recruit these dead beat Balkan States plus Turkey into the fold, do you? 3) Having "agreements" and actually deporting criminals are two separate issues; the Justice Minister has already explained the difficulty; thus we have (as shown on TV news) gangs of Albanian drug pushers, fighting with other gangs in OUR prisons. Guess you won't read about it in the Huff though !

More conflation and terror tales on your part. Oh and yes, we sent back the Albanians.
Milky
Yes I have. Do try to keep up. I do not see it, point it out. Thanks for pointing out how easy it is for our exporters to the EU . Another reason to remain There are still taxes to be paid on cars you import whether your a company or individual, you also need to make technical changes. Some countries make it very difficult to import cars, It is not that much more difficult to export a car to New Zealand for example (although far more expensive due to shipping). I admit there are advantages of belonging to the EU, I recall our lorries being stuck sometimes for weeks at European boarders before Schenger, Italy was one of the worst, but you need to weigh up advantages over disadvantages and in any case the UK does not belong to Schenger. . 1
observer
Alas tis you who is the fool PJ; if you believe that Turkey won't be joining the EU along with the deadbeat Balkan States; they're already working on a deal to allow Turkish citizens visa free access, or did you miss that one? Oh. you know that we no longer have any Albanians in our prisons - thought not. Think your well on the way to earning the Tim Fallon award for naivity and gullabilty ! And Cyprus will never use their veto will they you dimwit? I told you already, we have a bilateral agreement with Albania and in its first actions over 100 of the 180 prisoners here were sent back. Is that so difficult?
