Bazj
Because he overstepped the rules of his employment perhaps? So maybe by that thinking, it could account for why so many business leaders voice their opinions on staying (and leaving) maybe they are told to toe the line by their shareholders or the people who hand out the money such as Governments and the EU? It could be that the Chamber of Commerce chap is the only one with any real conviction as he has decided to give up what will no doubt be a nice fat salary to voice his true opinions. observer
Right, so now your an anti-democrat PJ; makes sense I suppose if your pro-EU.
Milky
better than unqualified muppets with the correct school tie running education one week then defence the next. Much sooner see expert clinicians at the helm of the NHS than Jeremy Hunt. Why is it that people automatically assume that clinicians would run the NHS better then it is now? Clinicians are trained to provide health care not run budgets, man management and and other tasks involved in running an organisation Warrington hospital is run by an ex clinician, but once they turn to running a organisation like a hospital they stop being clinicians!!! Most GP surgeries are run by clinicians and most are not run all that well
Bazj
and at least we get a chance to vote out Jeremy Hunt et al at the next election.... so if Labour do their job properly instead of just giving up on ever being in government again (which is how it comes across at the moment) they could do a better job perhaps or are some people so absolutely and utterly devoid of hope of ever picking the right MP's or government that they have given up and want it to be picked for them?
