Today it was in the news while tested the bridge failed, the bit i am curious about is that the bridge that is being built to reduce congestion is a opening bridge that will be lifted to let ships in and out of the ship canal, have I got this right? I think it was new road being built on Trafford Park or Barton Dock so local traffic didn't have to use the motorway to cross the MSC & add to to vehicles already on the M60.
