Paul Kennedy
Remember that recent play....where Mr Blair ended up on trial....at The Hague. Don't think it will come to be....but current events must give our former Prime Minister some unease...maybe the odd sleepless night. wahl
the high court also ruled that terrorists and murderers could not be deported, that we have to accept paedophiles from other countries and other such things including human rights for convicted prisoners. About time the so called judges started thinking about the human rights of the population of this country and the expectation that the population is protected from the above. perhaps the high court needs reeducation
observer
The high Court (judicery) are only able to interpret the laws made by the legislature (parliament); the problem is, we now have laws comming out of our ears - but they're flawed and ridden with loopholes, plus there's the overiding human rights nonesense. We also have an Executive (PM) that is merged in with the Legislature (parliament), creating a conflict of interest.
observer
More skeletons falling out of the cupboard: remember the Navy Team who were seized by the Iranians "in Iraqi territorial waters"; then were allowed to sell their stories to the press?
