Bazj
Oh not another "right wing tory press" comment.... that's getting a bit dated now don't you think? All these Corbyn supporters have been blaming them for years....essentially calling the voting public complete and utter morons for not voting the way the soap dodging leftys think we should.... Personally I would never vote for a beardy who refused three times during a radio interview, to condem the murdering scum IRA and then had the gall to compare what they did to the killing of terrorists by the British Army in Ireland..... P J
You are right Baz, right wing media is about as novel as phrases like loony left or soap dodging lefties but that doesn't stop you using them Also dated are repeated Jeremy Clarkson impressions. observer
Have to laugh at the Tory line on Corbyn, calling him "a security risk"; well perhaps he is; but he's not PM and unlikely to be so. Dave is PM, and allowing the country to be flooded with muslim migrants, whilst reducing the strength of our armed forces and police etc.

Davy51
Is Dennis Skinner likely to be Jezzer Corbyn's second in command ?
observer
He's already been criticised for having too many men in his shadow cabinet. Clearly he needs to include the right proportions of women, ethnics and gays to get the balance right !
Bazj
Not many men in the Russian political hierarchy though so maybe he is following their example.... mind you the few women they do have would certainly improve on Diane Abbot and the rest of the sourpuss Labour ranks if Alina Kabayeva is anything to go by
observer
Sorry Baz, but it's the new PC rules; your not allowed to "objectify" women !

Davy51
But Blair went for a gang of female ministers in his first attempt at positive discrimination & finished up with persons in authority who were not necessarily the best in those positions. observer
Dave; it all depends whether you believe in meritocracy or not.
algy
Most of the time Jezzer Cor'blimey looks as if has just had a bad nights kip at the local Sally Army centre, even in parliament the tie that he rarely wears is loosened as if he's arrived after a night on the booze, the man does not project a trustworthy image, personaly I don't think he has got a cat in hells chance of winning a general election. observer
Didn't actually think politics was a sartorial contest Alge, but I know what you mean ! Think they'll have a coup within a couple of years, after the media have run him down; then back to the Tory Party mark 2, for more of the same old, same old. wolfie
As my usual paper had sold out this morning I decided to buy a copy of the Daily Mail I lost count of the references to Corbyn and friends as hard left, left wing, looney left etc at about 30 counts. They even had a quiz with a looney left rating.
P J
That will teach you to buy the Daily Heil. In a way I am glad that the right wing media ( yes it is real) are doing their usual hatchet job on Corbyn, it makes them look scared and adds more respect to JCs dignified approach to politics. Just need enough people to realize what's going on really but Murdoch will be unleashing all he has to protect his Tory lickspittles and puppets

Bazj
Not singing the national anthem at a hugely significant public event????..... hardly what you would expect from the leader of the opposition......... He must have thought he was at one of those trendy North London union bashes or something or probably didn't want to upset his mates in the IRA
Davy51
Makes you wonder if it is a union sponsored £3 a vote victory...pity they don't realise the lefty loonies need to win a general election before they can hope to change anything.
observer
Think you've hit on two incompatable objectives Dave; winning an election and changing anything. It's fine winning election, but to do what - more of the same?
wolfie
If he had sung the National Anthem the media would have called him a hypocrite. But isn't it about time we got rid of the national anthem? I could be wrong, but there can't be many anthems that are dedicated to one person rather than the country they live in and that's not taking into consideration that it's probably one of the worst anthems in the world. (remembers the Billy Connolloy sketch)
Davy51
But it is a prestigious anthem & when it is played people listen. Just like the monarchy it helps to keep the "great" in Britain & Britain on the world stage.
wolfie
My Google search up to now has come up with the UK and North Korea. Actually Dave I disagree that it is a prestigious anthem it is more of a dire anthem and little wonder that the Scots and Welsh opted for their own.
