observer Posted March 19, 2015 Report Share Posted March 19, 2015 Talk about taking the "P"; on tonight's BBC News, a report of illegal immigrants due for deportation from the UK; paying Rumanian traffickers £600 to smuggle them from the UK to Italy, where they re-apply for asylum. Then they pay £1,000 to get smuggled back into the UK, and if caught and deported, will have to be deported to Italy, rather than India or Afghanistan. If these poor souls weren't free in the UK to roam around, and the deportation system was fast tracked; perhaps they may have been deported back to their Country of origin. And immigrants are indeed "making money"; in this case the Rumanian traffickers, who won't be paying any taxes on their ill gotten gains.
