Gary
Very impressed with the way the team played at St Helens - and if they can do the same at Wigan next week could be hitting form just at the right time! Nasty injury to Simon Grix though! http://www.warrington-worldwide.co.uk/articles/19120/1/Wolves-gate-crash-Saints-party/Page1.html
Wirewire
It was great last night. I was sat with all the Saints fans and was the only one jumping up and down and shouting with pleasure . The boys dug really deep especially after we lost SG & BW due to injury - at half time I was concerned that we may run out of steam with so few bench options, but it wasn't to be and we weathered their early 2nd half storm and then took full control. Really proud of the boys.
safeway60
The Pies will be harder to beat because of the spoiling tactics at the play the ball which they get away with all the time. They involve three defenders in the tackle, the third is usually a blatant flop and they take forever to release the tackled player.....Referees just ignore it these days but it's ruining the game...It's one of the reasons my sabbatical will continue.....Wrestling is now a recognised technique in training sessions but it isn't for me I prefer the old fashioned skills but my kind are a dying constituency.... Latchford Locks
Got a sneaking feeling we will turn over the pies good style. Then Shaun Wayne will whinge all week about how they were robbed
Davy51
TBH i can't really see the point in trying to beat Wigan on Thursday because we are likely to finish 3rd or 4th with an away tie whereas we are guaranteed a home tie by finishing 5th & will play an ostensibly easier team.
