This could be a local school, youth group or a charity you avidly support. If you prefer, you are welcome to pay the registration fee and simply take part for the enjoyment value and exercise. The walk will start and end at our Centre for Independent Living on Beaufort Street. Enjoy a casual stroll or a brisk walk round Sankey Valley Park - covering a total distance of 3 miles. Please note that walkers can choose their own distance and pace. A variety of stalls will be serving refreshments on the day - as well as activities and games for all ages. Registration is just £5 per person with all participants receiving a medal and certificate for their efforts. All funds raised on the day (apart from any sponsorship raised for individual groups) will go towards supporting the work of Warrington Disability Partnership (WDP).
