Eagle
The award winning Network Warrington has earned another award, the first company to leave school children at bus stops because the buses are full. The 'offpeak' services between Warrington & Leigh via Culcheth have been cut from four buses per hour to one bus per hour, unfortunately the kids come out during this time. The award winning company haven't even got the nous to use a double decker. Passengers travelling from Leigh are packed in like sardines and if you want to get to Birchwood, forget it there are no buses from north of Culcheth from next weekend. It suggests that one of the senior managers who has left the Council's employ is now in charge of transport.
Dizzy
That's terrible. I'm guessing there is no dedicated 'school bus' then ? If kids lived within walking distance of their school this wouldn't be a problem but most don't these days. Surely the school and parents can put a complaint in to the bus company and WBC, as after they are the ones trying to promote the use of public transport over car travel. Latchford Locks
If it's to far for them to walk why not buy them a bike for Christmas?
