Just another little detail to cheer us all up! - thousands of illegal immigrants attempting to sneak into the UK through France have not been fingerprinted by border officials for nearly four years, well that should help keep them out when they finally arrive here.

Kije, you clearly don't read my posts, as in the past I've covered solutions for most aspects of immigration, so I'm not going to repeat them again, otherwise you'll accuse me of being obsessive! Suffice to say: A cttee of MPs recently reported on the fact that there was no transparency, auditing or accounting as to where overseas aid funds are actually going, assuming it was right in principle for the UK tax-payer to be paying for it in the first place. As for "illegals"; immediate deportation from the point of arrest sounds about right.
