  1. Well said Adrian, at last someone who talks sense. Pm
  2. Gary, I have springy, mark, rita and derek Vernon, its the extra pull of the fa cup mate. Sounds like Matt could have done one of his buses for this game, and my carload would decamp onto it, and then it could have been filled but its a bit late now. Think Rick Smales could be full. Try Ken Edwards on the social network site, he may have some space in with him. Jerry is on holiday unfortunately, so he can't drive. Chris Henshall lives close to the ground, you could give him a call, he could take some of mine, and I will take a few of the kids mate.
  3. I am looking forward to this game, as we play Brig in the Cup for the second season running. Always a tough place to go and get a result, last years away support there was fantastic, and I believe there is still a pic of it on the official site. I know I have a full car, and with those planning to go by train, it sounds like there will be a large travelling support once again. You could see what it meant to the players last Tuesday, with the applause both the players and management gave to the fans BTG after the game. If you can, get there and support our team, lets push them one step closer to Wembley and into Monday mornings draw. Come on you Yellows Pm
  4. Good performance all round last night. Jamie Henders looked very good up front along side Chris Thompson, Matty Doughty did well, and Chris Oldfield also stood out. Nice to see Sam Finley back in the starting line up, he made a difference last night. Onwards to Bamber Bridge for the FA Cup on Saturday, hope we can take a good crowd and really get behind our team.
  5. Still have one or possibly two spaces available if anyone fancies making the short trip to watch Town at Prescot Cables tomorrow night. After winning there in the FA Cup, the home side will be gunning for revenge, so a cracking game awaits. If you want to come, let me know
  6. Our friends from Harrogate are in Town tomorrow are in Town for a league game, kicking off at 3pm. Its been easy to overlook this match, between all the cup ties that we have had and have coming up in the next few weeks, but this is the type of game where its crucial to pick up three points, if we want to look towards the Evostik Premier next season. Look forward to finding out who will be in goal, as Dave Stevenson has left to go to Bamber Bridge and Pritch is out for a month. Liked the look of McGowan and Henders on Tuesday, would like to see more of that partnership up front, with Gahgan on the left and Adam Carden on the right. Lets get behind the boys tomorrow, and make some noise, that will hopefully contribute to picking up three points See you all there Pm
  7. It has failed before and it will fail again, its that simple. The introduction of 24 hour drinking killed it off, with all the other pubs now being open well into the early hours, whereas, previously, it was literally the only place in Town open at those times. Would have loved to have seen it turned into a cinema again, as I think this tiown is crying out for a Town centre cinema complex, to bring in teh families, but then thats another debate I guess
  8. There are some conspiracy theories going round on here, if it was kids, it definitely wasn't a conspiracy. Now its burnt out, there will be planning permission in with the council pretty soon for the apartments, I would imagine. I know I, even as a born and bred Warringtonian, had never visited Bewsey Old Hall, or seen it in all its finery. Now I am pretty sad about that, another piece of our Town's great history virtually gone. Hope they do restore it, but I genuinely can't see it happening
  9. Thought it was a good game, disappointed we never finished them off in normal time, great game from Jamie Henders, scoring one, and setting up two more against his former club, lets hope we can keep up this good form when Harrogate come to Town on Saturday
  10. Me too, and so would Woody, soem avid cricket fans on here Peter
  11. Bier Huis, nice to meet a Wire fan living in Yorkshire. We have started a Yorkshire Branch of our supporters Club, why not join, double the number of members, us Wire footie fans are a friendly bunch, and often have a great time when we go over to Yorkshire, indeed, we have a number of Yorkshiremen within our regular supporter base, but these now live in Warrington.
  12. Strangely enough, Woody and I share the same birthday in December, what a coincidence that is
  13. Yes it is Geoff, great idea about the athletics training, could come in very useful I would imagine
