  1. Not a classic -I was hoping for a Wire victory, they looked really tired half way through the game. Anyone notice how many times Catalan were offside at the ptb they were only pulled up once all the game
  2. A little old lady answered a knock on the door one day, only to be confronted by a well-dressed young man carrying a vacuum cleaner. "Good morning," said the young man. "If I could take a couple of minutes of your time, I would like to demonstrate the very latest in high-powered vacuum cleaners." "Go away!" said the old lady. "I haven't got any money!" and she proceeded to close the door. Quick as a flash, the young man wedged his foot in the door and pushed it wide open. "Don't be too hasty!" he said. "Not until you have at least seen my demonstration." And with that, he emptied a bucket of horse manure onto her hallway carpet. "If this vacuum cleaner does not remove all traces of this horse manure from your carpet, Madam, I will personally eat the remainder." "Well," she said, "I hope you've got a good appetite, because the electricity was cut off this morning.
  3. Being a Saints supporter I feel confident we can beat Catalans and hope Wire stuff Leeds but you never know what might happen in a semi-final.

Hi all--- I too have not been around for a while --nothing wrong--just lost interest in forums in general,i have looked in a few times but was not able to sign in -so I thought another try is in order.
  7. Dont you think we have enough shite wouldnt mind Hill
  8. Just like to know if there is a regular service to Lymm from the bus station in Warrington
  9. A disappointing result for us,no excuses Wire wanted it more thaan us ---Saints were the worst team out of the fourteen who competed and can expect some more results like this one. there are too many players at Langtree Park who arent pulling their weight-it will be interesting to see how many turn up to watch them on Friday.

    Broncos

Rugby League will never take off down there --its time the money was spent up north and try and get the lower clubs prospering.
  12. Danny Brough wont solve your problems its a new team you want.
  13. Not in my garden lt.
  14. I thought Atkins had a stinker so did Myler--not a good Wires performance--time for some new faces.
  15. A good result for Saints who were very lucky not to have a sending off--just the one-- i have never seen wire play as bad as that it reminds me of the Cullen days-they just didnt turn up. They are definately missing Briers -i dont think the combination of Myler and O,brien will work either but a long way to go yet.
  16. Dizzy we have had the same problem with our son-----he had his own insurance but was only covered third party to drive our car we knocked him off our insurance last year and it has gone down close on £200 he is 42 and never claimed --what a racket.
  17. Not been in there for many years--as kids we used to go to the swimming baths then have a spell in the museum before going to the wires -saints match,i thought it had closed.
  18. Thats the trouble these days Bill --the insurance is nearly as expensive as the car.
  19. A hard game to predicta winner but i think Saints by 10
  20. Was they Mr Kiplings Bill------and another tip--this talk about beef being hung for 21--25 days it is a load of nonsense it would be black as the ace of spades. At one time there was a shelf in our local Tesco sell meat with just a few days shelf life --the odd time you could get a bargain but it had to be eaten that day.
  21. It would be interesting to know what happens to all the meat in the big supermarkets as it reaches the sell-by-date i do know of one company not too far away if not sold the meat is dumped in a skip and dyed while still edible now surely that is very wasteful.
  22. On reading Lucys post -i dont know where they get this £600 wastage from--there is only the two of us and we never throw any food away--its all down to knowing what to buy.
  23. A very good character actor RIP Trigg
