If you look at a historic graph of human population growth, you'll discover a fairly low rise up until the advent of Jenner's discovery of the smallpox vaccine, which brought on an age of medical advances throughout the Victorian era up to the polio vaccine and anti-biotics at the end of WW2, with a huge spike in population growth.  From time to time the bugs fought back,  giving us the 1918 Flu pandemic, which killed more people than both world wars combined.  Then some idiot suggested a link between the MMR jab and autism,  and an anti-needle cult was born.  So now, we have old diseases making a come back, like the measles outbreak in the US.  Seems the real pandemic is stupidity ?

It culminated in the referendum vote lol

  2. Yet another misleading and fictional opening post.  The penalty for causing death by dangerous driving is not a mere slap on the wrist but carries up to 14 years imprisonment.  Yet again this prolific thread starter prefers sensationalism over truth.  Nothing new

Well given that there were more wood burning fires, transport was by horse or ox or foot and there were more wild cattle about then in 10BC  it would probably be similar to now just different pollutants.

We could always ask Dr Emmet Brown.🤔

Hilarious, are you here all week ?

Oh no, somebody's proved me wrong with facts. Time to shift the goalposts.

Asperity set the goal posts with his use of the phrase " lower than they have ever been and still falling."  It is a pretty straight forward claim yet a very erroneous one.  Pre-industrialised London would have been far less polluted,  but you know that don't you?  You are still smarting from previous slap downs which is why you posted lol. Slow hand clap.

I show below annualised London Mean Background scores, so not roadside. Hence this is what the real exposure is most of the time. I have annualised the data because it varies month by month as it is weather dependent. It would suggest that Asp is closer to reality than you are PJ.
