  1. its a fact there are 14 year olds having sex as sad as it is they are still children, its to discourage pregnancys to those who do...parents and schools should discourage primiscuity and encourage what choices they have in life when they havent got kids in tow from an early age...dont just throw condoms at them give them a reason not to cause unwanted pregnancys..its a fact of life your always going to get them.......
  2. here in Australia we have all kinds of brands of pizza including Dominos they practically give them away so cheap[by the way havent bought a pizza fast food in years]they are sooo fattening and are pushed especially during the week nights....
  3. baz have you ever been to australia ?its very multicultural....
  4. I think its a nice thing to allow people to be able to remember loved ones especially at christmas,i couldnt think of life without my kids to go on would be virtually impossible...its part of the grieving process not a sick tradition, some people really amaze me in what they say...if it helps the grieving in any way,let them do it .pretty much i agree with gary...well said.
  5. its been hot here today in sunny oz 35 degrees with warm easterly winds..........had the air con on....i like it just so not too hot.......28-30 is nice.
  6. havent heard about the eating camel, but i have eaten kangaroo its served in a lot of resteraunts......needs sauce over it i have to say........i think they are soooo cute...but i think cows are too how many eat them...after seeing sheep ferried in trucks to the docks bound for the middle east i feel sorry for them so dont do lamb too often.....
  7. working in the nursing industry actually washed our hands and got tested immediatley after and found bacteria to still be on hands...so maybe it should be introduced during the toddler years..i will mention that anyone who attended stockton heath primary will remember we had to wash our hands religioulsy before our lunch and have them checked at three stages before entering the canteen.so maybe different parts of warrington would prove different results perhaps.im no sure on the scoucer issue....
  8. being a dog lover and an owner of two pedigree dogs disagree in what your saying....when you have a pedigree dog you tend to have an idea of exactly what nature of dog your looking for......there are lovely mongrel dogs but you arent too sure of what your getting...but i agree certain dogs are bred knowing full well they are going to have breathing problems....my advice to anybody looking for a dog research the breed and get exactly what your looking for in a dog...and take good care of it...
  9. good photos i went to stockton heath primary from 1966-?1972 possibly the photos werent from that era...my uncle went there many years before me and he resembles somebody in the pics...id say they were from 1920/30/40 but definately not 60s...nice to see it all especially the village st.thomas,s where i attended sunday school and was christend..and the canal and walton hall spent half my youth playing around there..........
  10. are you sure?whys it white then?id think it was either plasma or sperm....do you really know what your eating there.......

  16. I dont thnk it should have got that ...but couldnt she have done something more punishing like grounded him or whatever took pocket money away or something actually disiplined the lad.......at 15 they are of an age where you can hurt them by doing other things other than hitting them.

    Crufts?

being the proud owner of two show dogs[who we dont show]I have to say having been to some dog shows the owners spend full weekends surrounded by other dogs in cages people knitting and basically camping out.I dont think its fair to put dogs in the show cages for so long our ridgeback is 50kilos and youd have to have one hell of a big cage to comfortably house her in.I like seeing dogs at their splender but its abit like the beauty world of models they are shoved here and there....i say take thenm home treat them like a family member and let them be hugged and loved by their owners..not admired from a cage .....they are like prisoners for the duration.
  18. same here in Australia, the grocery bills have rocketed.the junk foods are lot cheaper[not that i have them]but isnt that going to cause future obesity diabetes and a list of other problems. It will cost the government apacket to treat everyone with heart complaints etc.wouldnt you think that it should be addressed worldwide to try and prevent this from happening...where is it going to end indeed.
  19. observer[the lights are on but nobodys home we'll say]in the medical industry you cant run a buisness like you usually would as you never really are aware whats going to happen next...what seems like atrivial thing turns out to be big, people are ill and at the end of the day everybody wants good treatment its not all about how many are booked in at a certain time. you have so not worked within the medical profession but it would do you ngood to then you would understand they system better.....
  20. have to say Australia encourages you to drive at all times with the headlights on,my husbands car if you set it right they come on as it is going dusk....but he has driven with them on at all times for years....not abad idea.....
  21. scary....it looks like Northbridge in perth at night...i couldnt belive it was warrington at first....and my daughter wants to go travelling there!i use to go to town years ago at night it wasnt like that.how awful,im glad i got out.... ..
  22. well how long is a piece of string....i have worked on those clinics many years ago,and can tell you its equally frustrating for the staff...as the doctors who run it are frequently called away to the wards A&E theatre outside distractions etc.....when i worked there we would see up to 200 people per day on the orthopeadic clinic alone...it wasnt always straight forward either...people getting booked in to theatre sometimes the doctors had to contact peope outside the hospital, especially if the wanted urgent chemo or whatever..they are very busy...they wouldnt have coffee breaks or lunches half the time,we would make them coffee whilst they worked as soon as the clinic finished they may have to head off to see patients on the ward go to theatre..very long days they worked let me tell you..the public dont realise what the staff on the other side actually do half the time.... my advice is take a good book dont make qany plans and you will be seen and if its your relative whos sick you'd be glad they were doing what they do for them.....brings me back to a patient i once heard complaining in the coronary care unit over here having a go at the doctor for delaying him by 2 hours,he felt hungry etc....they had made him wait and taken my husband in his place as he had a complete blockage and was having a heart attack...if only they knew like if only half of you knew whats happening while your whinging about yourselves having to wait......its shameful
  23. I nursed Sunny many years ago lovely lady with some nice stories to tell.......
