algy
What a team!. 1954 R.L. Final at Odsal Stadium, Bradford - Warrington V Halifax. Result: Warrington 8 Halifax 4. A record crowd of over 102,000 attended and later thought to be over 120,000, thought to be the largest crowd ever attending a rugby league game, although in Australia in 1999 a game drew over 107,000 spectators, although unafficially the Odsal game is still thought to be the largest attendance. algy
Not me Gary but I did go to the Wembley match where it finished in a draw resulting in the replay at Odsal. My dad couldn't afford to take us to this one!.

Davy51
I spoke to a Halifax supporter in Spain a couple of days ago who was one of the kids lifted forward over the heads of adult fans. He was in tears over memories of the occasion.
