wolfie
With just over 2 weeks to go the latest betting shows:- Chelsea at 2/1 Man City at 2/1 Man United at 5/1 Arsenal at 6/1 Liverpool at 10/1 Tottenham at 66/1 Everton at 125/1 I'm still voting for my team, but after last years performance I'm not confident. Lt Kije
Voted for Chelsea, think with the special one, they have the difference needed, think Msn United will get top
wolfie
With United winning their first trophy, beating Liverpool and a 100% winning start albeit only friendlies (can you have a United v Liverpool friendly?) my confidence is growing. Primedius
Toss up between City and Chelsea for me.
Bazj
United all the way.... they had to let someone else have a chance last year and lull every other team into a false sense of security!!

algy
Too early for predictions, just thank god that Suarez has gone, he was a brilliant player but untameable!
Gary
Well i will confidently predict Man Utd won't win the league this season.

AdrianR
Reports balotelli signs for Liverpool for £16m. Could make the season interesting. As one wag has put it already "sold the worlds most controversial footballer and buys the second most controversial footballer"
wolfie
Totally agree Adrian, as alg put it Suarez was untameable and City got rid of Balotelli for the same reason. I would have thought that after all the controversy with Suarez over racial slurs and biting that the last thing Liverpool needed was more controversy. asperity
On 3rd August, Brenda said “I can categorically tell you Mario Balotelli will not be at Liverpool,” http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/aug/03/liverpool-not-sign-milan-mario-balotelli-brendan-rodgers
wolfie
He knew when he said that, that it would come back and bite him on the bum, ....................... oh no that would be Suarez.
Gary
I am sure there will be plenty of fireworks with Mario - but he can score - and he doesn't bite!
Lt Kije
I know last night was not a prem match, but with so little trophy's to go for you would have thought he would have gone for it, and they have just been robbed blind on their latest acquisition, are Man United falling to bits?
wolfie
The short term answer to that is Yes, although there's a long way to go before they become a Leeds United. As for being robbed well probably, although Real wanted £75m. However I can remember when fans from certain football clubs said that no one will want to go to Man United because they weren't in the Champions League, all of a sudden it's changed to that they are paying too much, and I don't think the transfers have ended. Lt Kije
I don't know Wolfie, sadly Leeds are going absolutely no where, and the way Man united are playing at the moment you never know. I think it's sad that when a player has signed for a club on a record transfer fee he goes to the papers and says he never wanted to leave the old club, he should be saying he is looking forward to playing for such a big club. In all honesty I hope he earns his money for you, but I do think his attitude stinks.
