    Exploding Eggs!

To poach an egg in the microwave you first need to pierce the yoke otherwise you have your experience.
  2. Agreed Confused, but I’m sure you Are just as aware as I that justified tie breaks between equally qualified and experienced personnel can easily be manipulated within the decision making process.
  3. Unfortunately Companies are now biased in recruiting diverse individuals to fit with the Companies written policy for diversity rather than the best qualified / suited for the job. Don`t get me wrong I have nothing against individuals whatever their colour or sexuality but the bias has gone too far the other way now. Let’s get back to employing the right person for the job before starting to consider ethnicity or sexual persuasion.

    Fire Work Display

Hi Bill, I’m sure they have but I still feel under the current weather conditions it is rather irresponsible. There was a fire display down south last week, can’t remember quite where but it was believed to have started a local grass fire in the area.
  5. Sat in the back garden this evening trying to keep cool and can hear loud music and fireworks going off in the distance. Apparently Arley Hall have music and fireworks championships on tonight and tomorrow. Then they wonder why we’re seeing an increase in grass fires. The lunatics have take over the asylum.
  6. You’re lucky if you get put in a queue at our Doctors, just rings out as engaged and then cuts you off, and so starts the cycle again. You can carry on like this for 2 hours, all the time that the reception is open to take appointment bookings. 8 through 10am
  7. Already happening Obs. Daresbury Hotel is hosting numerous migrants and if you pass that way around 7 in the morning you’ll find them crossing the motorway junction down to Preston Brook with lunch packs in hand
  8. So to comply with the full inclusive diversity requirements, will the disabled character be white🙂
  9. Whilst the UK dockers refuse to offload one which would of provided the UK with gas for 12 days.
  10. I have also experienced all of the above with various TV`s we have dotted around the house. I actually put the subtitles on during some films due to background sound being louder than the voices. But definitely there are huge differences in volumes between the different sources i.e. DVD, Amazon Prime, Netflix and swapping channels.

    Is covid over?

Hi Bill, keep testing, I was feeling rough with your symptoms for two days before I tested positive.
  12. I remember my Parents banning me from using it in the car while parked outside the house after they heard that the neighbor's had had some strange interference on their TV`s. Trying desperately to remember the `Handles` of people I regularly spoke with along with the place name `Handles` that we used.
  13. Good business at the time for your beer money though. I remember the difficulty in getting an aerial that didn`t look out of place in the days when CB radios were not strictly legitimate. I remember thinking I was the bees knees having an AM/FM model with 120 channels on a slide out attachment in the car. I do vaguely remember the handle `Cherry Brandy` but it`s many many moons ago now and memory not as good as it was.
  14. Wow, the mention of CB Radios in the late 70`s early 80`s brings back such fun memories of my late teens early 20`s. I used to go by the handle of `Man In The Moon` at the time. Bill, perhaps a long shot, but were you ever familiar with a chap having the handle of `Strawballs`? He was our local dealer in the Lymm area at the time.
  15. The reason he has gone is not the direction the Government is heading but the fact he isn’t up to the job in hand. Now he’s trying to deflect his inability by blaming government policy.
